Hollow Earth is a series of wood veneer collages, based on Jules Verne’s novel ‘Journey to the Centre of the Earth’. This extraordinary book - part pseudo-scientific tract and part dreamlike exploration of interiority, place and the senses, includes descriptions of colourless forests and light with no shadows. Each collage envisages sections of the bizarre interior landscapes encountered by Professor Lidenbrock on his journey through the centre of the earth.
