A small packet of fake gold leaf flakes was in a 1950’s hardback book about cake decoration. One of its photographs was of a cake decorated with a woman/doll made from icing wearing a ballgown with gold on the trim of her dress. I melted the flakes and poured them onto the book scorching the cover.
